Meet Honey, a super cute 5-6 month old female German Shepherd mix puppy, currently weighing about 30 lbs! We expect her to grow to a medium/large dog. Honey was saved from an overcrowded kill shelter in east TN.

As her name suggests, Honey is a SUPER sweet girl! She is very friendly and loves all people (especially kids!) and other dogs. She has not been cat tested, but we think she would likely do ok with dog savvy cats. She is gentle and loving, and she LOVES running around and playing outside! 

She is medically up to date, crate trained, and about 90% housebroken (she is a smarty pants and has learned to ring a bell when she has to go potty). Apply to meet this darling pup today!

Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding!
