Meet sanders
Sanders was abandoned in a parking lot in Florida about 4 days before we took him in. After searching for an owner, we ultimately brought him home hoping he would be a good fit for our family. In so many ways he is! Loving and usually pretty tolerant. He is protective of his family, and unfortunately he did have a small incident with a delivery driver, so we gave him a more confined environment (ie keeping him on a line) which he has done well with.
What we can’t modify is our lively home - three young boys mean lots of sudden noises and movement, which he mostly tolerates but has been unpredictably reactive. He would do much better in a bit calmer, adult only environment.
We have some farm animals (goats, pigs) which he is not friends with but spends many hours staring at from the window. We don’t know how he would be with any other pets.
We are hoping to find him a home that will love him like we do, but without the environmental challenges he encounters with us.
