Meet the Marvelous Miss Maple!Maple is a 6-month-old German Shepherd mix who arrived from Oklahoma with Apple just hours before a deadly cold snap. The shelter they came from is an open facility without full walls, and with the only staff member on leave, conditions were about to become extremely dangerous. These girls were rescued just in time.Maple is a sweet, loving puppy who is friendly with other dogs and enjoys their company. Like many young dogs who’ve spent much of their short lives in shelters, she hasn’t really had the chance to just be a carefree puppy yet. She’s ready to learn what home life is all about — toys, routines, and lots of affection.She’s expected to stay on the smaller side for a shepherd mix and should grow into a nice, manageable medium sized dog. Maple would truly benefit from having an older, confident dog in the home to help show her the ropes and build her skills. Another dog in the home is required for her.
