Tempo is a 2-year-old Husky mix and a sweet, sensitive guy. At 62 lbs, he has a gentle heart, a curious mind, and a playful streak that comes out once he feels safe. He can be shy at first and prefers slow, respectful introductions, but give him a little time and he’ll happily follow you around the house, lean in for pets, and invite you to play—sometimes by dramatically forcing his face into your arms or chasing his own tail for laughs. He is house-trained, crate-trained, and generally well-behaved, though he can get into mischief like exploring the trash if left alone too long. Tempo has some mild separation anxiety and benefits from being crated when left alone.His favorite toy is a tennis ball that he chews on and chases. Tempo loves being outside and going for walks, and he does best with regular exercise to keep his body and brain happy. He will require a fenced yard in his future home to give him the exercise he needs.Proper introductions will be needed when introducing Tempo to new friends because of his unknown history. He will pull toward dogs on walks like he wants to play, and he hasn’t met a cat directly, but he seems curious when seeing cats outside. Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 150-mile radius of the Twin Cities. However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.
