Meet ocho
I rescued this dog injured in the center of a rural county road in December and he has been with me ever since.
This soulful dog is available for a new home anytime! He is just such a mellow, happy, goofy guy and he deserves so much more time with humans that we can give. He would be great in an apartment with regular walks or a home with a yard. He was very good with pre-teen kids and decent on a leash. He has played well with dogs of all sizes. He is not very reactive and is pretty easy to redirect. He is a great dog for someone that wants a low maintenance pal to play with and then nap the other 20 hours a day. He is good on his own, no separation anxiety or destructive tendencies and he has shown minimal resource guarding and now that he is eating regular he is doing a good job of not overeating and will only eat when he is hungry.
He does seem to want to chase the cats and so I would recommend a home with no cats or with young cats that can get away.
