Short Bio

Oogie is a super chill little guy who loves lounging around the house and quietly patrolling his space. He’s calm and low-key most of the time, but he gets animated and energetic when other dogs are around. He may try to hump during play, but he’s generally submissive, especially in another dog’s home.

Oogie is perfectly fine being left alone and is not destructive. He would thrive in a home with another dog and people who are around often, like work-from-home adopters.

He does require eye cream twice daily to prevent dry eye (common in his breed). He currently has a minor eye ulcer that should clear up within a week with prescribed drops.

Personality & Characteristics

Oogie is very calm, gentle, and easygoing. He doesn’t bark, bite, or cause trouble — he mostly enjoys relaxing in the house.

Oogie is still learning leash walking. He’s not a big fan of the cold, but he happily lets his foster put booties on for walks.

He is very polite and gentle with food, but not very interested in treats right now — likely due to poor dental health. He is currently awaiting a dental visit.

The application can be found at WaldosRescue.org. Once approved, you will be put in touch with the foster to ensure it’s a great match.

We are a RESCUE, not a shelter, and we conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the approval process.
