This 2 year old girl who weighs just 9 pounds, was found running scared and lost through a rough neighborhood in rural Tennessee and when no one came forward to claim her, it became clear she was meant to start a new chapter—one where security and love are a given, not a question. She is the definition of a Velcro baby. Danica wants to be right beside her person, soaking up every moment of closeness she can get. Your lap, your side, the spot right at your feet—that’s where she’s happiest. She does well with cats and seems comfortable around other dogs, but her true favorite will always be her human. Danica is incredibly sweet, a little clingy, and completely honest about her need for reassurance. After the trauma of being lost and the abandonment she’s experienced, who could blame her? She is fully potty trained and thrives when she can form a strong bond with someone who enjoys snuggles, quiet companionship, and being deeply loved.
