Meet dixie
Dixie is a 3-year-old mix;we think she has a blend of Beagle, Cattle Dog, and Husky. She is a smart girl who knows her commands like a Cattle Dog, but she definitely has that sassy Husky attitude and will talk back; or show her teeth when she is feeling opinionated. Dixie is easy to walk and a big-time cuddler who will paw at you for more attention.
She is naturally protective of her family and is generally good with kids, though she does have firm boundaries. While she has never actually bitten anyone, she did give a warning nip when a toddler pulled her skin too hard, so she would do best in a home with older children or those who know how to respect a dogs space. Unlike her sister LuLu, Dixie does not do well with cats at all and needs a feline-free home. She can also be a bit bossy with her treats or when trying to correct LuLu. Dixie is a loyal, vocal girl who just needs a confident owner who understands her big personality
