Meet Widget
Widget is a 12-year-old, 10 pound male Chihuahua mix with the heart of a true gentleman. He recently lost his home when his owner could no longer care for him, and now he’s hoping to find a soft place to land for his golden years.
Easygoing and laid back, Widget is a sweet little lapdog who enjoys being petted and spending quiet time with his people. He gets along well with other dogs and has been lovingly pampered and well cared for his entire life. His experience with cats is unknown.
Widget has a history of allergies and has tried several treatments over the years. His current diet—avoiding chicken and beef—has made a big difference, and his skin is now healthy and pink instead of itchy. He does have occasional seizures and is on medication to manage them.
Widget would thrive in a calm, loving home where he can relax, feel safe, and enjoy plenty of affection. If you’re looking to open your heart to a sweet senior who still has so much love to give, Widget may be the perfect companion.

We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting.

Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses.

All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public in Oklahoma. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
