Hi, I'm Todd, and I'm todd-ally awesome!!

If I could design my ideal future life, I would join a family with a single doting human as my companion, whose top priority in life was me. As it should be. As long as I've got that set, I'm up for anything. Are you a long haul trucker? Travelling trade show vendor? Off grid survivalist? Band roadie? Lighthouse keeper? Any and all may apply! I am unphased by noise, visiting new places, long car rides, changes in my environment, all types of weather, extended time outside, schedule changes, bizarre sleeping arrangements, etc. If I've got my person, I'm content!

My foster family says that I'm 'loveable to the core' and 'a total snuggle bug.' Some of my favorite ways to pass the time are dozing on the couch, chewing on my toys, and giving my foster mom all of my love! Every dog in the pack has a role, and its my duty to make sure that my humans are never lonely! I take that job very seriously, and I spend most of my free time in my foster mom's arms, just to make sure she always has a buddy. Dedication, thy name is Todd.

I've overheard my foster mother describe my social skills as 'interesting'. Touche. Allow me to argue my case. I have a doggy foster brother, and we get along well. I respect his space, he respects mine, and I'm mostly over the fact that he refuses all my offers to play. When it comes to other dogs, I want to be part of the pack, but I admittedly mis-read signals sometimes, erring on the side of thinking everyone wants to play, because who wouldn't want to play with me? I also like to make new human friends, but strangers make me a little nervous. Once my foster mom assures me that someone is safe, then I'm more than happy to sit in their lap and snuggle.

I'm smart and well-behaved, and I already know a few tricks like 'sit' 'stay', 'come' 'down', and 'off'. Even though I love going for adventures, I'm also good in my crate, as long as you close the door quietly. I'd be a great fit for someone who works in the office, because I love my people, but don't mind alone time. In my forever home, I'd love to have a yard, but I'd be equally content in an apartment. See above. From treehouse to igloo, I'd pretty much live anywhere that I had an awesome forever family!
