He’s a shy, sensitive boy who is discovering that humans can be kind and trustworthy. Shep is dog friendly, is curious about cats and has passed his on-leash cat test. Because he is still gaining confidence and learning how to navigate new environments, an adult-only home is preferred where things can move at his pace. He is still building confidence on leash. Shep has tremendous potential and would thrive with a calm, confident adopter who has experience working with shy or undersocialized dogs and understands guardian breeds. Shep is neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped, and ready for the right person to help him continue to grow into the amazing dog he’s meant to be.
