Meet maxine
Found this dog in Oak Cliff, and it’s pretty clear she came from a good home. She’s well-groomed, spayed, microchipped, and already knows basic commands like sit, stay, and giving paw (yes, singular). I checked the microchip and posted across neighborhood and Facebook groups, but no owner has come forward. Temperament-wise, she’s very easy to live with—calm and relaxed indoors, content to lounge while you work, but still enjoys walks and short bursts of energy outside. She’s been excellent with cats (currently living with five) and has interacted well with other dogs, including larger ones. I can’t keep her permanently, but I’m fostering her until she finds a good home. Full transparency: she’s a bit spoiled and currently prefers canned food.
