Brownie joined our family when he was 6 weeks old. He was my baby before we had babies. His parents were both family Chihuahuas that we mated. He is now 11 years old. Unfortunately, husband and two of my kids are allergic to dogs. My five-year-old gets a really bad allergic reaction with puffy eyes that are almost fully shut and it triggers her asthma badly. Because of this, Brownie was temporarily re-homed to a family member's house. However, due to their own health concerns, they can no longer keep him. He has always been such a sweet boy. 5 years ago, he was attacked by a German Shepherd and needed emergency surgery. He pulled through the surgery and recovery like a champ and made a full recovery, thankfully. He deserves so much love and affection that we simply cannot give him, and it's not fair to him. Brownie loves eating, sunbathing, and napping next to his favorite humans!
