barkley the retriever mix pupp

Barkley is an adorable 2 month old male puppy. He currently weighs about 7 pounds, and we anticipate him to be medium size when fully grown. He has a beautiful black and white coat.

Barkley and his littermates ended up at a shelter in rural Texas due to no fault of their own. He is excited to come to Wisconsin and find his forever home.

Barkley loves people and plays well with other dogs. He is working hard on his potty training skills, but his forever family should be prepared to do more training while he learns the routine in his new home.

He is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and he comes with his medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies him to be in good condition.

He is being fostered in Muskego, WI

His adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. We use those funds to support our program of readying additional dogs, puppies and kittens which we transport and adopt out in the northern United States. Our goal is to get as many homeless animals out of south eastern Texas, where we have a severe pet overpopulation crisis.
