Meet big boy
Big Boy is a sweet, affectionate 6-year-old male pit bull in need of a loving forever home. This decision was incredibly difficult and not made lightly. We truly tried everything to keep him, including completing a 6-week professional dog training course, but due to landlord restrictions and the challenges of managing another high-needs dog, we are no longer able to give him the time and attention he deserves.
Big Boy is house-trained and crate-trained and generally does well with other dogs. We are unsure about cats, so a cat-free home is recommended. He thrives with consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement. Like many dogs, he can be protective of table food, so boundaries are important; however, we have never seen aggression during regular feeding times.
Big Boy’s safety is our top priority. We will be conducting a thorough screening process for all potential adopters to ensure he is placed in a responsible, loving home and will never be used for any harmful purposes.
