Meet Banana Pepper!
Banana Pepper is a 5-month-old male Chihuahua with a gentle soul and a whole lot of love to give. Born on 08/27/2025, he currently weighs about 7 pounds and is just as sweet as his name suggests.
This adorable boy is super affectionate and loving, and he truly enjoys everyone he meets. Banana Pepper does great with people, other dogs, and cats.
He’s doing very well with his puppy basics and is eager to keep learning. Banana Pepper already knows how to use a doggy door and puppy pads. He’s still working on his leash skills, but with his sweet nature and willingness to learn, he’s sure to master them in no time.
Banana Pepper’s journey began with a second chance—he, his siblings, and his mom were saved from the euthanasia list by one of our dedicated fosters. Thanks to that rescue, he’s now thriving and ready to find a forever family of his own.
If you’re looking for a loving, friendly, and gentle puppy, Banana Pepper could be the perfect addition to your home!
Interested in becoming a forever home for Banana? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application.
Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws .
We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting.
We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and appreciate you working with us.For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process.
Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses.
All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public in Oklahoma. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!
