Meet Phoenix (aka Leo): A Fearless Soul with a Heart of Gold If you’re looking for a truly chill puppy who balances bravery with sweetness, Phoenix is your guy. This handsome, sturdy boy has settled into house life like he was born for it—calm, confident, and wonderfully gentle. Phoenix has an easygoing, fearless personality and loves exploring the world around him. New sounds, new experiences, even big snowy adventures don’t faze him one bit—he greets it all with a wagging tail and quiet curiosity. He’s a hearty winter warrior who enjoys romping through the snow, oversized puppy paws and all (his adorable clumsiness is part of the charm). Affectionate to his core, Phoenix is a certified Snuggle King. He especially loves curling up with kids for long, cozy naps and soaking up all the love he can get. He’s incredibly patient, submissive, and gentle, and he takes correction beautifully. Smart and eager to please, Phoenix is already making great progress with crate and potty training. He’s also doing well with leash training and has some impressive manners for such a young pup—when going outside, he sits and waits for the door to open and only goes out when asked. Coming back in, he patiently sits until the door is shut. If you’re in another room, he’ll sit and wait for you… and if it takes a while, he’ll simply lie down and relax until you’re ready. Phoenix gets along great with other dogs and enjoys playing tug-of-war with his foster buddy. He shows no aggression toward food, toys, or bones. He’s already learned to fetch—and he loves it! Ideal Home: Phoenix would thrive in a home looking for a steady, affectionate, well-mannered companion.
