Meet Amelia!Amelia is an almost 8-year-old Shepherd mix that is around 91 pounds, and fully grown! Amelia is a large, tall, girl with an even bigger heart. She is potty and housetrained. She is very playful and loves our playgroups. Miss Amelia has a crush for small to medium-sized male dogs and likes to show off her fancy footwork with the balls in our play yards. Amelia loves car rides with her favorite volunteers and never says no to a burger. Fluffy blankets are the best and kisses are mandatory! She loves passionately but trusts slowly, we feel Amelia may have had abuse in her past and is very slow to trusting people that are new to her. She will require a dog savvy home with someone who has worked with abused or traumatized rescues, and willing to take the time to complete slow introductions and multiple meets with her, in order for her to feel comfortable.
