Meet roo-roo
All of our dogs are deserving and have special endearing qualities. Every once in a while, you take out one that REALLY captures your heart and Roo-Roo did just that! Roo-Roo is a 3 year old 57lb terrier pit/Catahoula Leopard dog that arrived at the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 1/13 as a stray. He has a very stately stance! He does sit for treats and takes them gently. He really is a gentle giant! When he was across the yard, I called him, and he came to me. I went back indoors for a minute and when I came back, I got a happy dance! He obviously is looking for love! He wants to be close to his human. He did do his business in the yard. He’s very sweet, laid-back and has good manners. He needs a home with a yard where he can romp and play and then come back inside to share his love and appreciation with his new family.
