Meet beau
Meet Beau, an 11-month-old Golden Retriever mix weighing around 51 lbs — and yes, he truly lives up to his name. Beau is a polite little gentleman who approaches the world with a soft heart and kind manners. He’s crate-trained and does wonderfully when meeting other dogs, greeting them calmly and respectfully.
Beau can be a bit shy at first and is still adjusting to the hustle and bustle of city life, so he’ll do best with adopters who can give him a little extra time and patience to fully settle in. Once he feels safe, his sweet personality shines through in the best way. According to his foster, Beau is a total cuddle bug who loves nothing more than being close to his people.
He’s perfectly content entertaining himself with his favorite toys (especially his pizza toy and tennis-ball rope chew), but his absolute favorite way to start the day is with a generous helping of morning belly rubs. Beau is also a quick learner and highly food-motivated, which makes training both fun and rewarding.
