Meet President Rose, a 2-year-old Retriever mix weighing around 55 lbs with the softest soul and the kindest eyes. Rose is a shy girl who is still adjusting to city life, but beneath that initial hesitation is a truly sweet and gentle disposition. Her foster describes her as incredibly soft-natured.
President Rose loves her crate and is currently learning to go in on command, a skill she’s picking up beautifully. She’s also working on her basics like sit, stay, and come, and she’s proving herself to be a very smart girl who wants to learn at her own steady pace.
With both people and other dogs, Rose does best with slow introductions and a little extra space to feel safe at first. Once she’s comfortable, her affectionate side shines through. She adores belly rubs and gentle pets, and watching her confidence and trust grow over time is incredibly rewarding.
