Meet Hooch—a tan and white pit bull mix, approximately 3 years old, who is ready to step into his starring role as your new best friend. Hooch came to animal control as a dropped-off stray, but despite his unknown past, he has quickly captured the hearts of everyone he meets with his affectionate, gentle, and joyful personality.Hooch is a truly loving boy who is friendly with both people and other dogs. He greets the world with a wagging tail and an open heart, always eager to make new friends and soak up attention. His sweet nature and easygoing attitude make him a delight to be around, whether he’s cuddling with his humans or enjoying time with canine companions.This handsome guy already knows how to sit and shake, and he’s craving more enrichment, training, and structure in his future home. Hooch is eager to learn and would thrive with continued positive training that helps build his confidence and strengthens his bond with his family.Hooch is available as a foster-to-adopt until after his neuter appointment, with his adoption generously sponsored by Macomb County Animal Control. If you have other dogs at home, a dog-to-dog meet and greet will be required to ensure everyone is a good fit. If there are cats in the home, slow and supervised introductions are recommended, as his history with cats is unknown.He is fully up to date on all vaccines and preventative care and is now searching for his forever home—a place where he can finally settle in, feel safe, and be surrounded by love. Hooch is ready for a lifetime of comfort, companionship, and devotion, and he can’t wait to share it with a family of his own.My adoption fee is $50!
