She rides well in the car, enjoys going for walks, and gets along with dogs, cats, and children. Eboney is very energetic and would benefit from active owners to jog, etc. with her. A fenced backyard is required for this girl to romp and play in. As a Schnauzer&Standard Poodle mix, Eboney will grow into a strong, 50 lb. dog. Owners need to be up for the breed's physical and mental activity as well as regular grooming appts. Schnauzers/Standards typically have a 10-15 yr lifespan.Characterisitcs of the Schnauzer and Standard Poodle: Personality: sociable, intelligent, loyal, and protective, often making them good guard dogs. They are eager to please, making them highly trainable and good family companions.Activity level: high-energy requiring plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. Eager for all kinds of activity, and they enjoy keeping busy. Swimming is great exercise for them, and have impulse to retrieve. Throwing toys, sticks, or balls will exercise both their mind and body. They also thrive on going for jogs or long walks with their human. Grooming: regular 4-6 week grooming appts needed to maintain coat.
