Meet Leia (A5743131) — a breathtaking 2-year-old silver sable German Shepherd who urgently needs her forever home. Leia is currently at Castaic Animal Care Center in Santa Clarita, CA, and her time is critically limited—she has been issued a 72-hour plea.
Leia is a sweet, petite girl at just 51 pounds. From the moment you meet her, she charms everyone with her friendly, playful nature. She adores human connection and happily seeks affection from staff and volunteers—rolling over for belly rubs, soaking up snuggles, and leaning in for love. 💕
Highly intelligent and eager to please, Leia is already picking up basic obedience and leash manners. While she tends to display dominance and hasn’t enjoyed playtime with other dogs in the shelter environment, she is currently being recommended as an only dog.
