Meet dara
Meet Dara! She’s a 1-year-old female American Pitbull mix weighing 50 lbs, who arrived at the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 1/10 as a stray. With her gorgeous smile, it’s impossible not to smile back. She loves doing zoomies in the play yard and had a blast chasing toys I tossed for her. While she can be a bit strong on the leash, she takes treats gently. Dara enjoys being petted, though sometimes she’ll jump up in excitement. She has been reactive to other dogs barking at her, so she’d do best as the only pup in the home. She’d love a secure yard to play in and plenty of time close to her family. This sweet girl is ready for the love and commitment she deserves.
