Duke Kaboom comes to us from one of our partner shelters in rural Tennessee. Duke and his
4-legged buddy, Windsor, showed up at a house out in the county last spring. We actually took Windsor into our rescue last June, and he was quickly adopted. We had no idea that we left his friend Duke behind until the shelter reached out to us recently asking if we would take him. We felt terrible that Duke had been waiting for an adopter or a rescue in Tennessee since last May, and of course snatched him up!

Duke Kaboom has been such a wonderful addition to our kennel. Not only is he gorgeous, but he is very well behaved, too. He knows some commands already and we can tell he is so smart and a sponge who will soak up any training he is taught.

Duke has been with us a short time, but since he was at his previous shelter for several months they got to know him very well. He was a playgroup regular and loved to romp with his dog friends. He LOVED all the volunteers (which we can attest to here as well!). They write, "Duke plays very well with children. He participated in the March of Dogs which is a parade with lots of people and dogs, and he had a blast. One thing was learned about him; he is terrified of tiny yappy dogs that run at him LOL. He loves to ride in the car and is good on a leash. He is very smart and is food motivated!"

Duke Kaboom’s adoption fee is $300. This animal is neutered, up to date on core vaccines, and Heartworm negative.
