Meet butterscotch

Butterscotch came to AHeinz57 as a stray, and while we’re not quite sure what she’s mixed with, one thing’s for sure—she’s 100% sweetheart! Butterscotch is estimated to be over 7.5 years old and she`s entering her golden years a sweet and gentle girl! Why You’ll Love Butterscotch:- She adores attention and will happily soak up all the pets and belly rubs you’re willing to give.- Her favorite pastime? Sitting on the bench with volunteers, leaning in for some quality booty rubs.- She’s a certified leaner—always looking for a little love and connection.- She keeps her kennel clean!- While we’re still learning how she interacts with other dogs, she enjoys running alongside her neighbors.- Her gentle nature suggests she may do well with kids, but a meet and greet with all family members (furry and human!) is required.- She may have a touch of separation anxiety and gets a bit vocal when she wants attention, but it’s more of a soft whimper than a loud bark.Butterscotch is a resilient, affectionate girl who’s ready to find a family that will cherish her. She’s got so much love to give and would thrive in a home where she can be close to her people.Butterscotch is on-site at our rescue! If you are interested in meeting this sweet girl, you can fill out an application online or come out and ask to meet her in one of our playrooms. Information on Butterscotch may change as we get to know her better.
