This beautiful hound mix is a total lovebug who adores attention and wants nothing more than to be near her people. Sasha finished her job as a devoted mama to a litter of puppies, and they have all found their forever homes. She is hoping it is her turn!She came to AHeinz57 with her two brothers (Flint and Flapjack) after living with many other dogs. Before coming to us, we believe that Sasha spent most of her time outside, so she isn`t quite familiar with being in a home environment. In her previous foster home, we learned her hound nose did lead her into getting into things she shouldn`t, so she did have to be kenneled during the night. While she was not fan of walking into the kennel, once she was inside of one, she would calm and sleep. Like most hounds do, she loves to hear herself sing at random times so a home without shared walls would be best. She has done well in playgroups and loved to play with her foster siblings, however, a meet-and-greet with all humans and furry friends is required to make sure everyone gets along just right! However, she does think that cats and other livestock type animals are just fun toys, so a home without cats and livestock would be best. Sasha doesn`t seem to mind smaller dogs. She is still working on her leash skills, but she is improving! She has had the opportunity to meet with a few families with younger children at events and seems to understand that she should be gentle with little ones. However, you may need to keep an eye on her - she likes to give hugs :)Sasha is just a young girl that is looking for a family that can be patient with her as she learns the ropes of living in a loving home and learning new basic skills.
