Meet Dacre, a 6-month-old, 40 lb bundle of potential with a heart that just needs a little time to shine.
Dacre does great with other dogs and would likely thrive in a home with a confident canine companion to show him the ropes. He’s a routine-loving pup who feels most comfortable when he knows what to expect, structure is his best friend and helps him build confidence.
New people and environments can be a bit overwhelming at first, but Dacre is absolutely worth the patience. With gentle guidance and positive reinforcement, he warms up beautifully. And once you’re in his circle, you’re in for life. He forms strong bonds and clearly remembers the people who have cared for him, greeting familiar faces with love and recognition.
Like any puppy, Dacre is still learning the ropes. He may sneak a chew on something he shouldn’t or investigate the trash if given the chance. Potty training is still a work in progress and will need consistency and patience from his future family.
