Meet smokey
Smokey will be 5 years old in February. She still has good energy, especially for running and playing fetch, but she’s past the nonstop puppy phase. She prefers people over other dogs and would do best as the only dog.
She has never hurt a cat. She may chase and sniff, but she does not seek them out. She’s been around cats that keep to themselves without issue.
Smokey has grown up alongside my daughter, and they’ve always had a good, playful relationship. She’s comfortable with her, but I can’t guarantee how she’d be with other children since she hasn’t been around many. That said, I think she would do well.
She loves being near her people, usually relaxing in the same room, and enjoys sleeping on the couch. She doesn’t like being alone but has never been destructive when left home.
