Willy is looking for his forever home!

PERSONALITY: From his foster family-

Willy is so sweet and docile, he's a very loving gentleman with a great temperament!

He is super cat friendly and is quickly making friends with the cats. He's so docile and gentle with them even when he's playing with our tiny kitten, who likes to stalk and ambush him and attack his tail. Willy loves other dogs too, he would do well in a home with dogs and cats.

Willy is housebroken! No potty accidents in over a month!

Willy is shy but warms up very quickly. He doesn't like to be held but he loves to be snuggled on the couch or on the bed. He will sleep next to you all night long. He is very smart and easy to train.

Willy can be hyper with other dogs in play, his play is different with cats. He's very gentle with our kitten and I think it's because he realizes how small she is so his play with her is mellow compared to his play with dogs.

But for the most part, Willy is low energy and lazy so he would even be good for someone older who is looking for a companion because he's so obedient and docile, and he's easy to handle. Unusual for a puppy!

Willy enjoys sunbathing and exploring the yard. He is quiet in the home, not a barky dog by any means.

Willy LOVES watching TV! He's mesmerized by the TV. When the TV is on he's laser focused so if you want a couch potato that watches TV with you, Willy is your guy.

We think Willy would do well with a family with children too because Willy is gentle. He would do well in a home with dogs and cats and other animals, he has no prey-drive whatsoever. He won't even chase after squirrels or birds in the yard.

Willy could also thrive in a home with one or two owners as an only dog who would prefer a low energy mellow dog. Due to his temperament, he's versatile and will thrive in any of those scenarios.

HISTORY: Willy is one of two puppies we rescued in December. They were born under a trailer porch by a feral mom and spent their entire first 7 weeks of life outdoors, without shelter, extremely minimal human interaction, living among a pack. He and his brother were the only 2 surviving of the litter.

LOCATION: Currently in foster in Griffin, GA. We do a home check with all fosters/adopters; we will come to you within 2 hours.

AVAILABILITY: Available for adoption or foster-to-adopt (FTA). FTA is a 2 week commitment-free trial run to make sure things are a fit before sealing the deal and officially adopting.
