Meet bridget
Meet Bridget 💕
Bridget is a 9-year-old Shih Tzu who has already lived through more than any little dog ever should. She was found in a rundown home, extremely matted and neglected, until a kind-hearted woman stepped in and convinced her owner to surrender her so she could finally get the help she needed. Bridget was groomed, vetted, and began learning what love and comfort feel like.
Just four short months later, that same wonderful woman unexpectedly passed away — and Bridget once again found herself needing rescue.
Bridget does have some hearing and vision impairment, but she is otherwise healthy and fully vetted. She’s currently settling in, learning her new surroundings, and doing what she does best: enjoying long, peaceful naps on soft beds. She isn’t looking for chaos or constant activity — just a safe, permanent place to rest, be loved, and feel secure.
Small dogs like Bridget can easily live to be 15 years old, which means she still has many years of companionship, quiet moments, and gentle love to give.
