When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped!
What we know: Transferred from Espanola Humane in Santa Fe New Mexico with 2 siblings, no known parents. Originally came from Stray Hearts Animal Rescue before transferring to Espanola. Came to CPR at about 4.5 months, fixed and up to date on vaccines
From the foster: Ziggy is a sweet and super cuddly lady! She wants to be right next her people, and is super loving and sweet! She likes to watch our two resident dogs wrestle, and occasionally builds up the confidence to get in the mix with them! She loves our kids (ages 11 and 14) and loves to climb on, kiss and snuggle them! She is learning that her crate is a safe place, and cries a bit at first before settling down. She has been successfully sleeping in her crate through the night in our bedroom, so she can see us and knows we are right there (sleeps all night quietly!). Ziggy is doing well with potty training as long as you are getting her outside frequently and watching for cues! She would do great with any family, but would likely LOVE to be with a family who has someone home alot - she is one of the sweetest pups we've had and REALLY wants to be right next to her person at all times!
