Meet Scout: Australian Cattle Dog Mix | High Energy | People Lover
Scout is an amazing dog who deserves an active home where he can thrive. He's smart, affectionate, and has never shown aggression toward people; just the opposite. He loves to snuggle, play fetch, chase frisbees, and would be perfect for hiking and outdoor adventures.
Why we're rehoming: Scout has resource-guarded food around our other dog a few times (never breaking skin, but concerning with young kids around). His constant high energy has also impacted our older dog's quality of life. Scout adores his brother, but Copper just wants peace.
What Scout needs: An active owner who can provide plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. He'd do best as an only dog or with a high-energy playmate. He's the type of dog you can take everywhere! 15-20 years ago, he would've been my dream dog.
Scout is loyal, loving, and ready to be someone's perfect adventure partner. With the right home, he'll be absolutely incredible!
