This beautiful young girl is in danger of being euthanized.  She is currently located in a shelter in TX.  The town animal control picked her up because she likes to dig and shred the bags of trash in the streets (maybe she was looking for food? )  and the street was needing to be kept clean due to a parade route passing through. That's how Thelma found herself in the shelter - the same shelter where the mayor thinks that the dogs in there need to be killed to make room for new dogs. Thelma weighs about 45lbs. Approximately one year old Maybe Heeler/Collie but we are not sure at all!!!  Very friendly with people and kids; plays with the other dogs and displays no signs of aggression She lived in an area overpopulated with cats so she seems ok with them also She is afraid of people she doesn't know at first, but after a short time, she trusts them If adopted, we will fully vaccinate, spay, and microchip her and bring her to safety in the tri-state area.
