Meet bandit

Bandit is spayed and READY TO GO HOME!!!Bandit is a truly one-of-a-kind dog - a powerhouse of intelligence, curiosity, and charm. She's a retired service dog who still carries all the smarts and skills from her training. Bandit knows a wide command vocabulary, takes treats gently, and thrives on mental stimulation, long hikes, and runs. She used to clock 4 miles every day, so she's happiest with plenty of active outlets for her energy. Puzzle games, "searching" for treats, and new challenges keep her engaged and fulfilled. She rides perfectly in the car during trips.Bandit is looking for a very special home - one where she can be the center of attention. She isn't a fan of sharing her space with other dogs, and due to her size, energy, and confidence, she's best suited to a calm home without small children. Older kids who respect her boundaries can be a good fit. Bandit bonds deeply with her people and gives her whole heart to those she trusts. She loves burrowing under blankets for cozy snuggles and quiet downtime after a day full of activity. She is incredibly clever and resourceful - she can open push-down door handles, climb ladders, turn buttons on and off, and jump fences if not supervised. Because of this, an iron crate is recommended when she's left alone to ensure she stays safe and secure.Bandit's ideal home will be active, structured, and able to provide both physical and mental enrichment. She shines on hikes, bike rides, and long walks, and she absolutely loves exploring and learning new things. Volunteers adore her brilliant, independent personality, and she has a way of winning hearts wherever she goes. With the right match, Bandit will be an extraordinary companion,If you're interested in learning more about her, please reach out to our volunteer matchmakers at wcac.matchmaker@gmail.com with the subject line "Bandit 261976".She is up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention, is microchipped, and spayed. If you have cats, we recommend slow introductions over time. If you have children in your home, we recommend supervision between animals and children at all times.
