Meet Petal!Petal is a 4 month old Chihuahua mix who came from a severe hoarding situation and had little to no socialization, so the world as a pet is completely new to her.She is very fearful of new people, sudden movements, and unfamiliar situations and will need a patient, calm adopter who allows her to move at her own pace. She is not a cuddly puppy right away — trust will take time.She must have a confident, friendly dog in the home to help guide her, a secure fenced yard, and would do best in a home with no small children.She may be shy now, but with consistency and kindness, she will continue to grow.
