Penny is a 2-year-old, 60 lb Chesapeake Bay Retriever/German Shepherd Mix who lives for fetch and snuggles! She's housebroken, crate-trained, and a loyal companion.
With training and structure, Penny has been thriving in her foster home for the past 4 months and has blossomed into a truly spectacular dog! She's a fast learner, eager to please, and has attentive obedience and leash skills. She gets along with adults, children over 10 years old, and med/large calm dogs.
Penny is looking for an adopter who is ready to give her the structure, love, enrichment, and leadership an intelligent dog like her needs. She would make a fantastic adventure buddy, loves hiking, and pack walks with other dogs. She is playful and loves to fetch her ball, but also loves to snuggle when it's time to relax. She truly is a good girl who is the whole package!
