When he first landed at the shelter, he was nervous, unsure on leash, and clearly trying to figure out the world around him. Since then, he’s shown one of his biggest strengths: he feels better when he has good company, especially other dogs.Hutch has done well in playgroups, enjoys wrestling and playing with dog friends, and seems to gain confidence from being around them. He’s also shown a gentle, affectionate side with people. During a meet-and-greet with a family, he started off reserved but warmed up nicely, taking treats gently, giving soft kisses, and staying calm around a toddler and even a crying newborn.He’ll likely do best with patient adopters who understand that he may need a little time to settle in, plus a home that can keep building his confidence. A dog friend could be a real bonus for him. If you want a kindhearted dog who’s both sweet and social, Hutch is worth meeting.We are open to the public Tuesday - Sunday (1PM - 5PM)!
