Meet rain 3 (blossom)
Rain 3, also known as Blossom, is new to BARCS and we’re still getting to know her, but she’s already making a wonderful impression. She came to the shelter through no fault of her own and was described by her former family as happy, loving, fun, and full of energy.Blossom enjoys being outside and is an affectionate, happy-go-lucky girl. Her favorite toys are ropes and bones, and she loves engaging with her people. She has been exposed to children of all ages and did great, and she reportedly does well with other animals. She is housebroken and can be crated when needed.On walks, Rain is easy on leash and enjoys stopping to sniff all the interesting smells. She does not seem reactive to other dogs and is polite and attentive with her handler. She appreciates pets—especially scratches under the chin—takes treats nicely, and happily sits right away when treats are offered. She knows “sit” and is a very attentive student during training time. When it’s time to cut loose she has a blast zooming around the play yard. Rain has met other dogs at the shelter, she can be a little rowdy with her friends and will need to meet any potential doggie roommates to make sure they are a good match.With her sweet nature and joyful energy, Rain 3 (Blossom) is already showing great potential to be a loving companion.
