Meet popcorn
Popcorn is a 1-year-old German Shepherd weighing 44 pounds, and she’s an absolute breath of fresh air! This playful, silly, and sweet girl seems like a pup who’s just happy to be alive and she’ll make a wonderful family companion.
She loves the snow (ate a bunch and did tailspins in the play yard!) and had a blast playing with toys. She’s great with other dogs and she has no issues handling - we took a toy right out of her mouth, and Popcorn didn’t react at all. She’s very food-motivated, which will make training a breeze.
Popcorn was surrendered by an owner who didn’t understand the breed or how to work with a young shepherd. They described her as playful, snuggly, hyper, loves to chew, plays fetch (but doesn’t like to drop), and thinks she’s a lap dog. While they said she was working on housetraining, it’s clear she wasn’t walked or exercised enough to succeed so her new family should be ready to give her the activity and structure she needs.
