As of 02/20/26, Lucky has been waiting 319 days for a family to call his own &#194&#151 which officially makes him one of our Diamond Dogs. That means he's been overlooked far too long... but we know his perfect match is out there. After spending several months building confidence with RAC shelter staff & his foster family, Lucky has truly blossomed into an incredible dog who is ready for his forever home. This handsome boy is wonderfully well-rounded. He does great with other dogs, cats, and even livestock &#194&#151 especially chickens! He would thrive in a home with kids and loves having people to play with. When it's time to burn energy, Lucky is all in for toys, yard time, and fun. But when the day winds down? He's a professional at &#194&#147Netflix and chill&#194&#148 and is more than happy to relax by your side. Lucky is housebroken, crate trained, and leash trained &#194&#151 he's put in the work and it shows. Because he forms strong bonds, he may need a few days to warm up in a new environment. But once he chooses you, it's for keeps. His loyalty runs deep, and you won't find a more devoted companion. The connection he builds is truly something special. Lucky is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and ready to start his next chapter.
