Meet grover *courtesy cupid*
We are an elderly couple in our mid-70s and received a wonderful mixed-breed rescue dog over four years ago — a dog we named Grover. Due to unexpected health issues and the fact that we frequently travel to New York City to visit our children and grandchildren, we unfortunately need to re-home Grover. We want to make sure he gets a good home.
Originally rescued from Oklahoma 5 years ago. Grover is friendly, enjoys being petted, and loves to be outside and catch balls. He has herding instincts so appreciates space to run and take walks (he is good on the leash). He will protect the home and owner (he does not like unexpected/unknown visitors at the door, or delivery people.) He knows basic commands (sit, down, stay). He does not jump up onto furniture or steal food. He is a medium-sized dog, about 50 pounds, and is about 6 years old.
Grover is up to date on all vaccinations and had his annual check-up in June. Grover would fit best in a single-dog home, or with female dogs. He is good with our grandchildren. Unfortunately, we aren't in a position to keep Grover and want him in a good home.
