My mother has been diagnosed with early onset dementia with Alzheimers and cannot care for the dog anymore. This dog was left with her by her grandson whom passed away 4 years ago, so the dog hasn't gotten all the active care he needs like socializing with other dogs, walks, and other active care needed for a dog of this breed and size.
Although well loved, it is just not practical to keep him through the illness and medical staffing that will be dealing with us within the household.
He needs re-training for manners and socializing with other dogs and new people. Great demeanor, just too strong for the surrounding females in the household.
