Meet lainey
Lainey is a beautiful 4-year-old female American Pitbull mix weighing 60 lbs. She came to the Mesquite Animal Shelter as a stray on 12/29. Though her past hasn’t been the easiest, as shown by some scarring, she’s looking forward to finding love and kindness in her forever family. We’ve been spending time with her, giving her plenty of affection, and it’s clear from her eyes how much love she has to give. She’s a gentle, sweet girl who walks nicely on a leash and takes treats softly. The shelter noise can be overwhelming, but she pays no attention to the barking dogs as she passes by. Like all our pups, we’ll continue to spend time with her until she finds a home—one with a secure yard for play but where she’ll be an indoor pup ready for endless cuddles.
