Buddy is a 4-year-old, loving, energetic, and people-oriented dog. He is gentle, docile, and not reactive, and bonds closely with those he trusts. Buddy does well with calm dogs and currently lives peacefully with a cat. He has been around children and does best with older or calm, supervised kids.
Buddy is dealing with an unresolved gastrointestinal condition that has caused significant weight loss despite a strong appetite and good energy. He has had extensive veterinary care, including bloodwork, Addison’s testing, and a prescription diet. While the cause has not yet been identified, he remains bright and affectionate.
