We're looking for a loving, committed home for our 4-year-old female husky mix. This is a difficult decision, but with a second child on the way, we want to find her a family who can give her the time, attention, and activity she deserves.She's a sweet, intelligent girl who is very food-motivated and eager to learn. She knows basic commands, is house-trained, walks well on a leash, and is crate-trained, though she prefers having room to relax. She's approximately 60 lbs, spayed, and up to date on vaccinations.She still has the energy and personality of a working breed and will need regular exercise and mental stimulation to thrive.She would do best in a home with older children who respect a dog's personal space. She's selective about other dogs, so a home where she's the only pet may be the best fit. Her compatibility with cats is unknown.We're hoping to find someone who understands her needs and can provide a stable, loving home for the rest of her life.
