Meet chipper

Chipper recently spent some time with one of our wonderful volunteers - he was SO enthusiastic and STOKED to be out for an adventure - it made the volunteer’s day. They started with a little playtime in the shelter’s corral where he enthusiastically selected a squeaky chicken toy and initiated a fetch session. After enough fetch, they started on a walk through the neighborhood. As they passed some discarded toys left on a sidewalk, he grabbed a little teddy bear and decided to bury it. Then, he dug it up and buried it again - (see video - https://youtube.com/shorts/0akFG0jlWCg?feature=share ) - only to leave it behind once he was done. They passed through some puddles later along the way and he literally skipped with joy – we’re sensing a future swimmer! Shepherds can sometimes be reserved at first - but not Chipper! He was instantly his full self - goofy, dynamic, and fun-loving. Bonus: he`s also very responsive commands.
