toretto

Toretto is a 4 year old, male Golden Retriever about 65ish lbs, sadly being surrendered as his family is in a place where they can't give him the time, exercise and direction he really needs and deserves. 

He is crate-trained (sleeps in it at night and when left alone) and house-trained and "He does love to 'dance' as we call it. He wants to jump on his hind legs to dance and give hugs." Toretto is very friendly and still acts like a puppy. He has lots of energy and his family just does not have the time to give him the energy outlet he needs. He minds her commands but he does jump on people - behavior she said she hasn’t been able to stop. 

He has tried to escape the yard, by jumping his family's 4 ft fence, but it is believed it was out of boredom, but he will need to be under supervision at all times when outside in a yard and does require a fenced yard due to his activity and energy. His new family will need to have the time to give him the energy and exercise outlet he needs to keep him happy and out of trouble. Toretto is a ball boy and will proudly carry a ball around or will chase one when thrown for him. This boy is a typical young and very lovable Golden looking to get lots of affection, be social and have fun with his family. He is smart and learns quickly so he will adapt to a new home with some training and help with adjustments. Another dog to play with or someone who is willing to walk him and/or is willing to play with him in the yard is what he needs. (Some rough and tumble young boys to roll around with would be good for him too LOL) He loves to be petted and loved on and will make a great addition to a family who will include him in fun activities and socializations.
