Meet nova

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Nova, a beautiful silver Lab with the sweetest heart to match her soft gray coat. Nova is gentle, loving, and truly enjoys being close to her people. She has a thyroid condition and takes a daily thyroid medication that is very affordable, and she does great taking it. Thyroid conditions can affect a dog’s coat and skin, so Nova has a thinner coat and slightly more sensitive skin, but this is a well-managed condition and many dogs see improvement over time with consistent care.   Nova can be polite with other dogs when introduced slowly, but she would be happiest as the only dog in the home. She really shines when she can have her person all to herself and form a strong, special bond. Once she feels safe and settled, Nova is incredibly loyal and devoted, always wanting to be near and soak up affection.   She is kennel trained, well-mannered, and a quick learner who is already showing how smart she is. Right now, Nova is staying in boarding due to a lack of available fosters, and she is patiently waiting for a family who can offer her a calm, loving home where she can finally relax and feel secure.   If you are looking for a gentle, devoted companion who just wants to be your one-and-only, Nova may be the perfect match for you.
